Canada in general seems to have an identity issue. They're just a hodge-podge of architecture. Which is visually interesting but a little confusing too!
Canucks really do say "eh?" And Bill says they have more than their fair share of pretty women.
Canada is really clean. With the exception of touristy areas of course.
We got a really good tip before going..."border patrol is grumpy and you can't do anything about it." In other words, don't try to make nice with them or 'cheer them up'. We didn't and found them to be ok.
Canada has the coolest highway rest stops. They call them "en-route(s)" They consist of a huge gas station, an area for truckers to park and a big building with mini-marts and 3 or 4 fast food counters. This one had a Burger King, Long John Silver and a Pizza joint.
Also, the part of Canada we saw and drove through, looks a lot like the Midwest.
