You know, I'll admit it, I did drugs in high school. Hey, it was the 70's. My generation never heard, "this is your brain...." and we didn't have D.A.R.E. What we did have though, were parents that were engaged in our lives. And yes, I'm aware that there are far more dangers out there these days. I'm also aware that people did some pretty wacky things to get high in the 70's. But seriously, huffing? And now this suffocating thing? I don't get it. You would actually TRY to kill yourself for a few seconds of lightheadedness????

I brought all of that up because of the article, I know you've seen it, about the 10 year old boy that police say committed suicide. His parents said it was a tragic end to a deadly game.

Sometimes the world seems like such a discouraging place. sigh
