The weekend was very blustery outside. I only mention that because I LOVE it when it's raining leaves outside. It's one of my most favorite things :-) We even raked up 10 big bags and Bill even enjoyed it! It was the smell and the warmth yesterday that did it for him. You know I just love it all.
Other than the leaves, I didn't get a lot accomplished this weekend. I guess that's ok. I did some quilling and house chores but that was about it.
The dogs are completely on board with the doggie door now. As I suspected, for Pepper, it's life changing! She was SO afraid of it to start with that I thought it would take a couple weeks for her to "get it." Nope. On the fourth day, a little light went off in her head and now there's no stopping her. It's really quite interesting. She used to go to the door to be let out, stay out 10 minutes or so, ask to come back in and 2 minutes later ask to go back out. Since we didn't let her out every time she wanted to go, she would just lay in front of the door, staring outside. That's where she spent most of her time when we were home, laying on the floor, staring outside, waiting for one of us to let her out. Now, there's no more laying on the floor staring outside. She's either on the couch with me or Bill or in her bed. When she wants to go out, she simply gets up and walks right on out. The other interesting part is, she doesn't go out as much now that she knows she can. I think that's remarkable...that she knows. Anyway, life is much happier for little Pepper now.
Oh, and Greta? She could care less. Miss smarty pants still wants you to let her out. She's so spoiled!
