Flashback Friday

To be fair, the 80’s really were just as wacky as the 70’s. But I started listening to country music in the 80’s so I missed out on a lot of the big hair bands. I listened to them as ‘reruns’ so to speak. As I was compiling this list however, I found a lot of songs I liked! I bet you will too  J

Rock with You
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Another Brick in the Wall
Funkytown
It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me
Sailing
Upside Down
Another One Bites the Dust
Lady
Celebration
Keep on Loving You
Jessie’s Girl
Private Eyes
Physical
I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll
Eye of the Tiger
Abracadabra
Truly
Maneater
Billie Jean
Beat It
Flashdance
Sweet Dreams Are Made of This
Islands in the Stream
All Night Long
Jump
Footloose
Hello
Time After Time
Ghostbusters
What’s Love Got to Do with It
I just Called to Say I love You
Wake Me Up Before You Go Go
Like a Virgin
We Are The World
Shout
We Built This City
Say You, Say Me
Kiss
Addicted to Love
True Colors
You Give Love a Bad Name
Walk Like An Egyptian
Here I Go Again
Bad
I Think We’re Alone Now
I’ve Had the Time of My Life
Faith
Where Do Broken Hearts Go
Sweet Child O’ Mine
Don’t Worry, Be Happy
Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Wind Beneath My Wings
Another Day in Paradise

See what I mean? There’s some good stuff in there! Michael Jackson had 9 #1 hits in the 80’s. Whitney Houston, Madonna and Phil Collins had 7. Where is Phil Collins anyway? Yeah, I guess the 80’s were ok
