We have a new lottery scratch off ticket theme! It's called, bringing home the bacon. It's like a scratch and sniff and it smells like, you guessed it, bacon! Honestly, I'm a little surprised that this is the first smelly scratch off lottery ticket. It seems like they should have done that a long time ago. Anyway, one of the prizes is a 20 year supply of bacon!! Who doesn't want that?! I would want the money though. I mean, what if there idea of a 20 year supply was only a 10 year supply for me? Maybe I could eat A LOT of bacon! 

And speaking of mmmmmm...last year when I asked my fella what he wanted for dinner on his birthday, he said, donuts. It turned out to be more like breakfast but I bought him a dozen different pastries/donuts for breakfast. I bring that up so you'll understand why this next thing is so much fun...
tomorrow is National Donut Day!! Last night I said, "honey!! Guess what Friday is?!?!? National Donut Day!! We better celebrate!" His response was so surprising to me. He told me to take the day off and we could celebrate National Donut Day by driving around the city and tasting donuts! Within an hour, he had a list of all the bakery/donut shops we could  go to. What a fun, whimsical thing to do! So unlike him. How could I say no? I ask you. Well, I couldn't. I'm taking a vacation day tomorrow and my husband and I will be driving around the city trying donuts all day. I'm totally stoked!!
